The Choirs at Minneapolis Community and Technical College<\/h2>\n

We have two different choir options available – Vocal Ensemble and Lunch Break Choir. Read on for more detailed descriptions. For details on how to join, click here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

College Choir<\/h2>\n

The Minneapolis College\u00a0Choir<\/strong> (listed in the course catalogue as MUSC 1310 – College Choir) is made up of members of the Minneapolis College community who love to sing. No previous musical background is required for membership in this chorus, and there is no need to audition. All you need is a willingness to work hard, a love of music, and a desire to sing with others. All interested students, faculty, staff and community members are invited to join.<\/p>\n

The College Choir meets Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:00 – 1:15 in F2700.<\/p>\n

Lunch Break Choir<\/h2>\n

The Minneapolis College\u00a0Lunch Break Choir<\/strong>\u00a0is made up of Minneapolis College\u00a0staff and faculty. It rehearses once a week with the College Choir. Some choral singing experience and familiarity with music notation is helpful.\u00a0 This choir performs publicly with the other ensembles at least once per semester. If you are a non-student employee of Minneapolis College, you are eligible to join this choir. Information on how to join will come via Sharepoint Connect\u00a0toward the beginning of each semester. You may also contact the director with any questions (see\u00a0Contact<\/em> in the navigation bar).<\/p>\n
